Washington State Tax Payment Plan

Washington State Tax Payment Plan

The Washington State Department of Revenue requests that you contact your local field office if you have a tax liability you are unable to pay off in full. A list of local field offices can be found here on the top right side of the page.

While at the office, you may be asked to fill out a financial statement to determine whether or not you might qualify for a Partial Payment Agreement. If you do qualify, the financial statement will also be used to determine the amount of your payments.

If you enter into a Partial Payment Agreement, interest and penalties will continue to accrue until you have paid off the debt. In addition, the department may still issue a lien in order to protect the state’s interest. All Partial Payment Agreements have to be made electronically and you are required to stay up to date on your tax responsibilities while your agreement is in place.
If you have any questions, you may contact your local field office or call 1-800-647-7706.
